The last of our snapshots from the 1992 ‘The Auction’ in Las Vegas. I believe it was put on by Ritchie Clyne of the Imperial Palace. Ritchie would have been assisted by either Don Williams (Blackhawk Collection) or his son Rob Williams.
“The Auction” was basically owned and funded and conceived by Ralph Engelstad from it’s inception in 1987, Mr. Engelstad was the owner of the original Imperial Palace Auto Collection and co-owner of the Las Vegas Motor Speedway. The Auction was used to sell surplus cars from the collection. Just another case of clyne and williams given or taking credit for Mr. Engelstad’s accomplishments!
One more time so maybe you read it.
“The Auction” was owned and thought of by Ralph Engelstad as a way to sell off surplus cars from his collection and make more money doing it. And again just another case of clyne and or williams taking credit for Mr. Engelstad’s ideas and money!
